GENERAL
GymPin is a British strength brand built by lifters, for lifters. We design and manufacture heavy-duty training tools such as GymPins, MiniPins, KingPins and specialist adapters so you can load more weight onto the kit you already have access to.
Every product is engineered, tested and refined by real lifters using real weight. We use high-quality British steel and aluminium, manufacture in small batches, and QC each item by hand so it’s strong enough for serious training, not just for photos.
Yes. Beginners can use GymPin to make light stacks more effective, while advanced lifters use our products to push past full-stack limits. The important thing is choosing the correct size and using safe, controlled form.
Our products are designed, machined, finished and quality checked in Britain. Keeping production close to home lets us control quality, innovate quickly and stand behind every product with confidence.
If you’re unsure, reach out via our website live chat or contact form with the brand/model of your equipment and, if possible, photos of the stack or rack. Our team will point you to the safest, most suitable product before you order.
Yes. Our Original 2" GymPin, MiniPins, seat belts and D-handle bars all make great gifts. If you’re not sure what to pick, you can contact us for a recommendation or choose a gift card so the lifter can select exactly what they need.
Products
GymPin works with most pin-loaded cable stacks and plate-loaded machines that accept 2" Olympic plates. Compatibility depends on stack pin diameter and any rack or lever arm dimensions. If you’re unsure, tell us the equipment brand/model and we’ll confirm which product is best.
You should match the small end of the GymPin to your machine’s existing selector pin. Most commercial stacks use 10 mm, but some use 8 mm. Remove the original pin and measure it, or use a BIC-type pen (around 9 mm) as a quick guide—if it’s loose, you likely need 10 mm; if it doesn’t fit, 8 mm is usually correct.

- MiniPin – Shorter pin, ideal where space is limited; typically holds around one 45 lb plate (sometimes two depending on plate thickness).
- Original GymPin – Our standard length extender for most users, designed to hold multiple plates safely.
- KingPin – An extra-long version for maximum loading capacity when you need as much weight as possible.
Our pins are manufactured from high-strength British steel and are designed to cope with serious loads when used correctly. Actual capacity depends on the machine, plate thickness and setup, but for most users the machine or stack becomes the limiting factor before the pin. Always load gradually and train within your capabilities.
We strongly advise against using the wrong size. An 8 mm pin in a 10 mm hole can sit unevenly, move under load and increase the risk of damage or injury. For safety and best performance, always match the GymPin diameter to your machine’s selector pin size.
Yes. We offer adapters, handles and specialist attachments designed for common rack sizes and jammer arms. Because brands use different tubing and hole spacing, please check the product description carefully or contact us with your rack brand and specs before ordering.
SHIPPING
Use this section for any descriptive text you need to fill out your pages or to add introductory headings between other blocks.
Yes, we ship worldwide from the UK. Shipping options and prices are shown at checkout once you enter your delivery address. In some regions we also work with distribution partners to help improve delivery times and costs.
Our products are solid metal and heavy. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, destination and courier rates. Add your items to the basket and enter your address to see an accurate shipping quote before you complete your order.
Delivery time has two parts:
- Dispatch time – How long it takes us to manufacture, QC and pack your order. During busy periods (e.g. Black Friday and Christmas) this can extend beyond our usual times.
- Courier time – Once dispatched, most UK orders arrive in 1–3 working days, and most international orders in 3–10 working days, depending on the service selected.
GymPin products are dense engineering components, not lightweight apparel. International couriers charge by weight and destination, so shipping heavy metal parts can be expensive. We’re constantly reviewing options to keep this as fair and competitive as possible.
Depending on your country, local customs may charge import duties, VAT or handling fees when your order enters the country. These charges are set by your local authorities and are not included in our product prices. Your courier will usually contact you if any fees are due before delivery.
As soon as your order is dispatched you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and a link to the courier’s tracking page. If tracking hasn’t updated after a reasonable time, contact us with your order number and we’ll look into it.
Returns
Use this section for any descriptive text you need to fill out your pages or to add introductory headings between other blocks.
We’re a small manufacturing business, not a big-box retailer. We accept returns on unused items in their original condition within a set period from delivery. Return shipping is at your cost and, on some orders, a restocking fee may apply to cover inspection and repacking. Please check our full returns policy page for current details.
Yes, in most cases we can help. You’ll need to return the original item in resaleable condition at your own shipping cost. We can then arrange an exchange or offer a discounted replacement of the correct size. Contact us with your order number and we’ll walk you through the options.
Unless a product is faulty or we’ve made a mistake, return shipping is paid by the customer. This helps us keep our product pricing fair for everyone while still offering support when you need to make a change.
Once we receive and inspect your return, approved refunds are processed on our side within a few working days. Your bank or card provider will then complete the transaction, which can take an additional 3–5 working days depending on their processing times.
If your order arrives damaged or you’ve received the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number, photos and a brief description. We’ll review the issue and arrange a suitable solution, which may include a replacement, part replacement or another remedy.
We start preparing orders quickly, so changes are only possible before your order has entered production or been packed. If you need to cancel or amend an order, contact us immediately with your order number and we’ll do our best to help.
